Don’t look, you know you want too - a collaboration collection with other FIT designers.
Pants and apron designed and created by me.
Inspired by combining the simplicity of both structurual and free forming silhouettes.
A look from my deformities collection brought to life. This look was by far the most entertaining to create, since I essentially had to sew it to then simply just….destroy it. But by destroying it, I was giving it a new life with its beautiful imperfections. I used two tools for my deconstruction: my seam ripper and a ton of lighters. The different fabrics reacted differently to the tears and heat from the flames. The effects created different looks I worked to combine with different techniques to create my final look.

In our world, transformation means a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one.
When it comes to insects or amphibians, this transformation is called metamorphosis; the transformation from an immature form to an adult form in two or more distinct stages. As humans, we are able to change our “form,” every day. As these creatures transform and shed their skin, as humans, we can do the same with our clothing. Our clothing is our cocoon, our skin that sheds daily as we undress and dress again and again.
Ecdysis explores humans’ abilities to shed their own skin, step out of their cocoons, and become reborn with a fresh perspective each and every day through the garments in this collection.
Deformities are within…
Ourselves, our world, our reality, our society.
We live in a world full of imperfections working to become perfect. We are taught to ignore disruptive beauty, the beauty in the opposite of construction, the beauty in the imperfections, the beauty everyones works to be “perfect.”
La Tierra - a deformities capsule collection.

There is beauty in everything. There is beauty in randomness. There is beauty in unpredictability and oddness. There is beauty in the anticipation of not knowing, and beauty in the act of knowing.
There is beauty in flying, soaring high like a bird with no destination. There is beauty in freedom, so allow me to run free.
